Worship and Praise Service: Sunday Morning, Main Sanctuary, 10:00 a.m.

SHPC is also wheelchair-accessible, and can also possibly provide donated walkers and wheelchairs for use during the worship hour upon request.
SHPC’s Communion Sunday Morning Service at the Main Sanctuary takes place regularly on the 1st Sunday of the Month – except for December, given that month is the time of Advent, focusing on the coming of Christ, not His self-sacrificial passing.
In addition, Communion Sunday is moved to the 2nd Sunday of the month during the rare occasion when Bright Sunday (the 1st Sunday after Easter) happens to fall on the 1st Sunday of the month.
K-8th Grade Sunday School: Sunday Morning, Small Chapel, 10:15 a.m.
Pets Are Welcome Service (PAWS): Sunday Afternoons, Small Chapel or Front Lawn, 5:00 p.m.
NOTE: PAWS does not take place during the following events – 2nd Sundays of the Month, 3-Day Federal/Cultural Holiday Weekends, Select Winter Sundays of December and January to give way to Advent & Christmas events, Late February through early April to give way to observing Lent, and during Inclement Weather, such as Severe Rainstorms.
Blessing of The Animals (BoTA): A yearly tradition of SHPC open to the entire community, our next Blessing of the Animals is slated to take place on September 16, 2017 (3rd Saturday of September 2017, 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.).
All kinds of securely leashed/harnessed/transported animals are welcome, including but not limited to: household pets, service animals, and work animals!
Booth spaces for animal-friendly businesses and non-profits are also available at either free or low cost. Please kindly e-mail firstname.lastname@example.org or call PH # 818-353-2500 for more details.

Every 1st or 2nd Sunday of the month, Elder Rose Kukla collects filled out Scrip Order Forms both in person (at the Narthex or Parlor after the Sunday 10am morning worship service) and by e-mail too to her too, upon request. If you prefer to pay by check, please make the check payable to SHPC for the total Scrip Form order amount (please put in the check memo line “Scrip”).

There are over 250 Scrip cards to choose from in various denominations (ex. $9.50 movie theater tickets, $100 grocery cards, and even $2,000 Hotel.com ScripNow eCards), covering 12 Product/Service Categories: Grocery, Gas & Auto, Dining – On The Go, Dining – Casual and Fine, Health & Beauty, Home Improvement, Extra Stuff (ex. cascading card file, gift card wrapper), Department & Specialty Stores, Electronics & Office, Entertainment, Online, and Travel/Vacation.
Whether you are shopping for your own household or are thinking of stocking up on gift cards for others, the SHPC Scrip Program is a secure way to cost-effectively pre-pay for quality products and services while creatively contributing to SHPC’s year-long fundraising efforts!
